Summary
Endeaver was the second robot I helped build on FRC Team 1261. The purpose of this robot was to collect cones and inflatable cubes and place them on shelves and vertical pegs to score points. For this robot, I co-designed and led the fabrication and build from start to finish. The robot featured a 2 DoF arm to accomplish the game's scoring tasks. This robot had a lot of shortcomings, most of which came from the heavy slop and backlash found in the pivot points of the arm. The robot also had a high CoM, which contributed to its tippiness.
